“Yasuni: Green Gold” a documentary project by Fernando Gonzalez Sitges has been selected by Miradas Doc 2009. Explora Films will attend the market MIRADAS DOC. Next May 21st at 8 p.m. will take place the international premiere of The Lord of Sipan in Casa de America, Madrid. The event will be conducted by the documentary director, Jos Manuel Novoa, and the Peruvian archaeologist Walter Alva, responsible of the discovering of the tomb of the Lord of Sipan and co-writer of the documentary. The production by Explora Films, El Deseo and RBA Audiovisual has been recently premiered in Peru, where Jos Manuel Novoa chaired the screening of the documentary at the presidential palace and was received by the Peruvian first minister, Alan Garca. Also on May 21st, there will be a press conference at Casa de Amrica, in which Jos Manuel Novoa and Walter Alva will attend the questions of journalists....

The Heirs to the Ark is in the Official Selection of Valle dAosta International Nature Film Festival Cogne Gran Paradis. The film festival will take place from August 22nd to 29th 2009 at Cogne, a Italian city in Aosta Valley, near Torino. The first episode of the series, The Century of the Great Changes, and the sixth one, Global Planet, has been selected by the jury to compete for the prizes in this edition, including the prestigious Stambecco dOro Trophy, which is worth 5000. The stambecco, al Alpine ibex, is the emblem of this international film festival that has been promoting nature and environmental cinema for almost twenty five years. The productions by Explora Films The Lord of Sipan , directed by Jos Manuel Novoa, and Eastern Bazaars, directed by Gerardo Olivares, have been selected for the Official Selection of I Festival Internacional Cine y Patrimonio de Murcia, organized by Filmoteca Regional Francisco Rabal, which will take place in Murcia from may 31st to june 6th 2009. The Festival is a annual meeting for conservation of cinematographic patrimony and for the presentation of movies about conservation, restoration, interpretation, creation and divulgation of every Cultural Good related to human activity.
