Just as it does every April, Explora Films will attend MIPTV, the showcase for international audiovisual content, to present its new documentary productions. India is the new destination covered by Explora on his latest production “The Pilgrims of the Ganges”, a journey through the North of India along the basin of the sacred river for Hindus, the Ganges. From the valleys located on the side of the Himalayas, cradle of Buddhism,, to the saint city of Benares, this documentary offers a fascinating journey through National Parks turned into sanctuaries for wildlife, and cities where Islam and Hinduism live together since centuries ago. We will witness the most crowded religious pilgrimage in the planet and get close to the mystic and enigmatic world of the Sadhus, the sacred men of India. Our documentary “Zebras on the Move” has passed the selection to participate in the XV “International Nature Film Festival – Trophy Stambecco d’Oro”. The festival will take place in Cogne (Italy), from the 22nd to the 28th of August 2011. The festival is organized by “Ente Progetto Natura” an association with the goal of contributing to the conservation of the environment, using the image as a tool of awareness. The Festival is sponsored by the Council of Europe, the Italian Ministry of Environment and WWF. The movies projected in previous editions of the festival have been produced by the mains broadcasters and producers, such as: National Geographics, BBC, ABC or New Zeland Television, among others....

Spanish producer Takeaway Films has trusted the distribution of its latest production “Seaway” to Explora Films. The series, 13 episodes of 25 minutes, will take the audience to the best diving locations in the world, to the remotest and most inaccessible sites. From different places in the Caribbean Sea to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, from the calm Indonesian waters to the remote Fiji Islands. We will visit unexplored sites to discover the wonders that lay underwater, in natural reserves and the most protected areas in the planet. “Seaway” is directed by Monica Gonzalez, who holds a broad experience in the TV industry, working for different Spanish channels such as TVE, Antena 3 or the regional channel in the Canary Islands.
