Our documentary “The Lord of Sipán”, directed by José Manuel Novoa, continues its international journey through festivals. The movie documents one of the most important discoveries in the contemporary archaeology: the tomb of the Lord of Sipán. A compelling story in which we relive this discovery by the Peruvian archaeologist Walter Alva and his incredible fight against looters.
The movie is to be premiered in Italy during the XXII International Festival of Archaeological Film” that takes place in Rovereto, form the 3rd to the 8th of October this year. The festival, together with the magazine “Archeologia Viva” are focused in the promotion and development of Italian and international archaeological heritage.
The documentary will be screened as opening film of the festival, the 3rd of October at 8.45 pm, in the Auditorium del Polo Culturale e Museale “Fausto Melotti”.
