The documentary The century of the great changes is the first of the six-part series The Heirs to the Ark. This production by Explora Films and Instituto del Trpico is directed by Fernando Gonzlez Sitges and talks about the past and the future of natural habitat conservation in Africa en the challenges of conservation societies in the new century. Produced in high definition, the shoot by the team headed by Gonzlez Sitges took place in many conservation societies y Africa and Europe along seven months.
The century of the great changes got the Merit Award for Conservation Message and the Merit Award for Graphics. The excellent work of Fernando Gonzlez Sitges and Render rea, the animation studios that created the spectacular 3D graphics for The century of the great changes, are this way recognized, as well as the value of the production in its positive message and its powerful special effects. The century of the great changes is a great beginning for The Heirs to the Ark series, which next episodes are now in postproduction, because of betting for an international reaching message about the problems of Environment conservation in Africa and the excellent quality of the production from the script to the technique, typical of Gonzlez Sitges.
