Pinguinos, seleccionado para el XXIV Festival International du Film Ornithologique

The documentary Penguins, the birds that wanted to be fish will participate in the XXIV Festival International du Film Ornithologique that is held at Menigoute (France) from the 28th of October to the 2nd of November. Not only more than a total of forty documentaries are screened, but also numerous conservation associations and artists concerned with environment participate in debates at the so-called Forum de la nature during this event.

The documentary directed by Fernando Gonzlez Sitges which extraordinary images in High Definition were filmed in South Georgia (U.K.) and the Valdes Peninsula during more than two months, tells the amazing story of these birds adaptation to their ocean conquer through the adventures of its protagonists: a King penguin, a Magellanic penguin and a Gentoo penguin.

The participation of Penguins in the XXIV Festival International du Film Ornithologique recognises the excellent documentary work that has already participated in festivals such as the International Wildlife Film Festival Montana (USA), Wildlife Asian Film Festival (Singapore), The International Environmental Film Festival – Envirofilm (Eslovaquia), Shanghai TV Festival Office (China) and Namur Film Festival, among others.
